Chocolate cake

Filed under: Chat — macronetnz @ 12:27 pm

Thanks to David and Steph for the big Chocolate Cake they brought in yesterday.

It was shared with a few customers that came in later during the day.  I did not eat the whole think by myself (honest).

Also a big thanks to Anne and from Trainworld for the coffee, it went down well with a piece of cake.

FREE ADVICE MAY COST YOU A CUP OF COFFEE

This campaign has been a roaring success, it is not always about charging our customers money for services.

The cup of coffee is used as a goodwill gesture to show appreciation for good advice offered.  This is not compulsory and can even be rain-checked for supply at a future date if you desire.

Please note that not all advice is provided free of charge.  Professional consultancy services of a speciality nature will be charged.

Viewsonic 27-inch LED Display

Filed under: Hardware — macronetnz @ 4:45 pm

Just reviewed instore, the Viewsonic 27-inch LED display beside the 21.5-inch iMac. Wow finaly a monitor that can (very nearly) match the Apple display panel at a very reasonable price.

The Viewsonic has 1080p Full HD, 2x HDMI and VGA inputs and very nice integrated stereo speakers.

If you were curious the price is $749 compared with the Apple 27-inch Thunderbolt display at $1649.

The Apple Thunderbolt Display is a better product… but is it worth the $ 900 price difference ? Mmmm

MacBook Air

The new 11.6 inch MacBook Air is proving to be very popular.
The solid state storage more than make up for is reduced storage capacity with its ultra fast performance.
Weighing in at about 1kg makes this very easy to carry around with you and is great for traveling with.
Priced as only $1539 this is one of the best priced Apple laptops ever.
